Inshore Fishing
​(Year Round)

Fishing in the shallow protected waters around Beaufort and Harkers Island. Surrounded by the Cape Lookout National Seashore, the pristine flats, creeks, marshes and sounds will blow you away. This trip will be on the 22' Triton bay boat.

Nearshore Fishing
(Year Round)

Fishing the wrecks, reefs, live bottoms, inlets and beaches off of the Crystal Coast. The beaches from Emerald Isle to Cape Lookout are commonly referred to as the "Crystal Coast" for its beautiful waters that are almost always calm and clear. The ocean fishing out of our nearby inlets offers tremendous variety and often does not require leaving sight of land! Although, we can do that too!

Giant Redfishing
​(August-September)

In August and September, adult red drum from 40-50+" invade our waters in the Pamlico sound and tributaries. Beaufort offers nearby access to the Neuse river, which is one of the tributaries that the giant reds utilize to feed in preperation for the big spawning event! If you are a big fish on light tackle junkie, this trip is the one for you!

Fall Albie Blitz​
(October-November)

In October and November, the fall weather and north winds push baitfish out of the inlets and the false albacore, or "albies" put on a show in feeds of epic proportions. Fly fishing or light spin fishing is the name of the game casting to busting fish.

The Boats

Capt. Will's 22ft Triton Bay boat is perfect for the shallow water fishing we do at Bounty Hunter Guide Service. Rigged with an iPilot trolling motor, power pole, the latest Lowrance HDS electronics, a hydraulic jack plate, trim tabs and a 225hp Yamaha outboard, the captain's boat is ready for anything. From getting up on the flats, into the creeks and out to the wrecks here at Cape Lookout, to running and gunning in search of old drum on the mighty Neuse River, the Triton will get you to the fishing grounds in style and quickly.

Capt. Will's Bluewater 23T is a new addition to the business and is perfect for the ocean fishing we do at Bounty Hunter Guide Service. She has a super deep V hull, a flat deck, open bow and a giant livewell that can keep lots of bait alive all day! Powered by a 300hp Suzuki outboard, you will get around comfortably and quickly. The Bluewater is the perfect platform for wreck hopping, bottom fishing, Albie fly fishing, mackerel fishing or fishing those windy days on the mighty Neuse river for old drum, when you have to sling bait!
